Dr Patrick Chin is a serial entrepreneur who builds his own products. Since founding Clairvoyant Lab in 2015 he has started a family of AI and digital ventures across Southeast Asia, and he designs and codes them himself.
He is a Doctor of Business, a trained data scientist and a hands-on developer. He completed AI for Healthcare at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and digital executive programmes at Harvard and MIT. He is Global Head of the Digital and AI Practice at Sompo, was Director and Head of Research and Statistics at Singapore's Ministry of Health, and is a BSI-certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor for AI management systems.
Across all his start-ups runs one conviction: AI used on people's work must be governed, traceable and accountable to the humans it serves.
